The course is aimed at staff working in a lower risk environments such as offices and shops. Content of the course includes first aid boxes, summoning help, accident reporting, recovery position, resuscitation, choking, CPR, blood loss, and shock, heart attacks and potential fractures.

Appointed Person (Care)

The course is aimed at staff working in care sectors that include those working with elderly and adults with disabilities. Content of the course includes first aid boxes, summoning help, accident reporting, recovery position, resuscitation, choking, CPR bloodloss, seizures, diabetes, strokes as recommended by The Stroke Association. Falls and recognizing fractures.

Certified period: 3 Years

Appointed Person (Sports)

The course is aimed at staff working in a sports environment such as gyms, leisure centre's, riding schools, sports coaches etc. Content of the course includes first aid boxes, summoning help, accident reporting, recovery position, resuscitation, CRP, blood loss, minor wounds, fractures, sprains and strains, spinal injuries, heart conditions and asthma.

Appointed Person (Schools)

The course is aimed at staff working in a School environment requiring life support skills to save an adult or child's life until the emergency services arrive. The content of the course includes recovery position for babies and children, resuscitation, choking and managing an unconscious casualty.
